Signals are a live or near-live layer. They can trigger attention and review, but they do not rewrite canonical scenarios automatically. When the serverless GDELT endpoint is absent, the page stays usable with a static fallback state.
Optional serverless endpoint target: /api/gdelt/signals. Static export remains operational even when the live endpoint is not configured.
Static fallback
The page is active, but the live signal endpoint has not populated any public records yet. The surrounding interface remains available so the signal layer can be attached without redesigning the public app.
